Building and Pavilion Rentals are available for family reunions, gatherings, birthday parties and related events.
 
Rental Fees:
 
Building:    Residents -          $35.00 plus $50.00 securtiy deposit
                Non-Residents -    $250.00 plus $50.00 security deposit
 
Pavilion:    Residents -           $30.00 plus $50.00 security deposit
                Non-Residents -    $50.00 plus $50.00 security deposit
 
Reservations are taken one year in advance.  Please contact the Township office for further information or to reserve a date.
 
 

Burning Permits are required.  Permits are available any time except during severe dry spells when the Fire Marshall may institute a burning ban.  There is no burning alllowed on Sunday.  No burning is permitted in the Conservation Zone.
 

Voting:
 
Monroe Twonship is divided into two voting precincts.  Registered voters who reside in Precinct 1 must vote at the Municipal Building.  Registered voters who reside in Precinct 2 must vote at the Fire Hall on Peffer Road.
 
Not sure which precinct you reside in??  Please call the Township office for assistance.
 
Elected positions within Monroe Township include:  three Supervisors, three Auditors, one Tax Collector, one Constable, and one Tax Assessor.
